Yea, it's been wrapped in carbon and vinyl. It's a DIY job if you have the heat gun and the patience to deal with it.

I had my 1st one painted to match my paint when my nose got sprayed.

I'm getting close! Any detailed advice from folks that have done the install in terms of prep? how much sanding, how many coats of primer, process....stuff like that?

It takes some light sanding with ~400 grit wet sandpaper and a few coats of primer and paint. The first coat should be a light mist followed by heavier coats. Allow 10-15 minutes for the paint to dry between coats.

Figured I could post a few pics installed on my Imola Red MR - looks good. Took a little sanding and I epoxied over the joints as well prior to painting. Simply used a few coats of Krylon semi-gloss followed by clear UV - matches the grills and lower valance perfectly. Looks great installed. Used the original 4 fang mounting holes, then drilled and pop-riveted into the center portions. Used 3M double sided near the edges, but that was about it. Looks great and very firmly installed.

Sorry for the indoor pics - we are getting sleet and freezing rain today in DFW. Go figure!
