WTB: Z4 3.0si Roadster (6 Sp Manual)

In the market for an '06-'08 (specifically N52K equipped cars) with reasonable miles and good service records! If sensible and "in good taste" mods have been done, I am willing to pay for them.

Currently looking for a roadster but could be swayed to a coupe if the right one comes up.

Willing to travel. Budget is flexible, depends on the car. Probably looking for something around or under $23,000. Again, flexible.

I saw this pop up on Cars & Bids the other day - https://carsandbids.com/auctions/rMz...-30si-roadster

I have no affiliation with the buyer. I am keeping an eye out as I wouldnt mind a roadster, but I'll likely stick with an auto.

Found this one that is a pretty good color combination. Not sure what you are specifically looking for but thought I would send it your way:

Thanks for sending that my way.

I am watching the bidding over at Cars and Bids. I am hoping you are able to pick it up at a good price.

Congrats on the new ride! It's funny I was tracking that auction in C&B myself - just a habit since buying my Z4 30si this past April. That's a beautiful ride and you're lucky to have found one with the sport seats (only missing option in mine).

Trust me and do yourself a favor - get BlueBus. Bluetooth was the only modern technology I wanted in mine and the integration and sound quality is simply awesome. I have zero affiliation with the developer - just can't get over how much more I love the ride with it.

Thanks! I'll be picking up the car next week. I live in Seattle, so flying down and driving the 1,200 miles back home

I have talked with the seller, the car sounds to be great condition! I already have an FCP Euro order ready with a replacement water pump.

If anyone has any suggestions for maintenance items, please feel free to bombard me!

Haha, thank you so much. It looks like there is a GROM(?) Bluetooth module installed by the current owner. Is there a reason to get BlueBus specifically?

That should be a great drive just double check Highway 1 is fully open through Big Sur if you are thinking of heading up that route. I am actually pretty close to the seller and I would give the car a good run down Santiago Canyon. It's a nice small stretch of road most people use for the fun weekend drive. Not maintenance related, but I would pick up the stubby antenna.

Oh I missed that in the C&B listing. That's great.

Functionality is mostly the same so you're set for an awesome drive back

Sounds good, I have put in an order for a stubby antenna! I will see about taking the car through the Santiago Canyon. Unfortunately, HWY1 is still closed in the really pretty part, ill try to see if I can do a bit of driving on it though.

It is not as direct as the 5, but going up the 405/5 to the 101 and following that north will give you portions of the coast as it goes through Santa Barbara. You can then cut across to the west to spend time in the Monterey/Carmel area, if you have the time. That looks to add about an hour to the overall time (assuming no accidents) versus going straight up the 5. When I used to do the drive up north frequently I would often take this option over the 5 because the drive was more enjoyable and you had plenty of nice places to stop; Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Atascadero/Paso Robles.
