Advice Wanted for Bushing Refresh Kit (Street Driven)

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if you guys had an leads on some good bushing refresh kits?

I am upgrading my suspension and wouldn't mind doing as much as possible.

Have:
H&R Coilovers (was pleased last time i had them)
GC Front Camber Plates
Control Arms (OEM)
Tie Rods (OEM)
Sway Bar Links (Garagistic)
Front Shock Tower Reinforcement Plates (Garagistic)
Rear Trailing Arm Reinforcement Plates (Garagistic)
FCAB and Mounts (From Zposter - the fly)

Need to Buy

Rear Shock Mounts - (probably gonna get Rogue RSM)
Rear Trailing Arm Bushings
RTAB Limiter kit
Sway Bar Bushings

What else would you get / recommend?
Would you do Rear adjustable camber arms?
Any worthwhile Sway Bars I can upgrade to?
Anyone have this kit? https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...m-e46m3bushkit

When I upgraded my 2005 3.0 roadster I installed koni yellows with Eibach springs and replaced every suspension and diff bushing with purple (street) powerflex bushings. I have been very happy with this setup for spirited street driving and no issues. I had the sport suspension so didn't replace sway bars.

I heard poly bushings can be quite noisy... was that your experience as well?

I didn't notice any noise - follow directions for lubricating them when installing.

Plus 1 on the poly not squeeking or making any other noise.
Be sure to use the lubricant they provide with each bushing

I have a full poly suspension. No squeaks here. I've had it for 2.5 years daily driven. It's a stiff ride, just lubricate properly when installing. Also, at times the fronts may need to be re-lubed. Thats something I read. I have noticed a slight squeak, but I think it's my dashboard honestly.

By any chance do you still have a link around? I'm really curious about amount of maintenance needed and if alignment will be needed after that.

I'm in the same boat as TS slowly gathering a list of suspension parts to refresh in my Z.

But I also have a 4Runner that has poly bushings in UCAs. Man, this is a nightmare to maintain. I need to lubricate them every 5kmiles and it starts squeaking already past 4kmiles.

Nah no link sorry. I would strongly recommend an alignment when replacing the bushings.

It was more like you MAY need to, like it COULD happen. But thats with anything. I just went for a drive to the store and no squeaks.

that goes without saying

I was more curious about re-lubricating them as a regular maintenance - can it be done without removing control arms?

Well I know that the lollipop can be removed without taking the entire control arm off. If it can be taken off it can be lubed.

But honestly, I haven't re-lubricated mine at all. I mean the entire suspension other than the sway bars is poly bushings.

Generally speaking, pretty decent quality, but I think YMMV depending on the specific part they make. I've ordered from them several times for my E30, only complaint is shipping/handling times can be a bit long as they don't always necessarily have stock on hand (and the site doesn't always reflect this) and can take a few weeks for fabrication.

So, is it confirmed that all of the bushings for the E46 M3 will fit the Z4M?

1messedupZ4M I don't think all of them are the same. Z4M uses e36 style front shocks/knuckle, and e46 non-M front control arms. FCABs, RTABs, sway bar bushings should be same, but not sure what else. Point is I think you should probably double check depending on the bushing.

Brutal.

I was hoping to put full poly onto my fun street Z4M soonish.. Looks like I'll be collecting parts for a while before I get around to stripping it apart.

(double post)

someone should make a masterlist of what bushings the Z4M uses.. so people can pick which ones they want to use..

I keep accumulating parts... but I am thinking about buying OEM bushings since my car is street driven.

I swapped in the polyformance FCABs and the Meyle HD front control arms along with a set of BC racing coil overs. Really tightened up the front end and improved my confidence in turn-in and handling. I was worried about excessive NVH but I didn't notice any meaningful change. I've got the M-sport suspension so I retained the factory sway bars.

I'm currently investigating swapping more bushings and components over to poly to further tighten things up.

Go with OEM. I am planning a similar control arm, suspension, and bushing refresh for my car this winter - will do all lemforder or OEM. Swapping Bilstein PSS10 and Ground Control Street plates in for the outgoing KW Clubsport setup.

I have streetable track car on all poly bushings. It'll find every loose item or plastic trim rattle - not the life I want for the Z4MC
