Crankcase Breather Fault: P2FDA

I recently changed both of my front O2 sensors (94K miles, one was throwing a code). Was a pretty easy job and the Pelican Parts DIY instructions are a good guide.

Since that work (which has you remove the Crankcase Breather hose so you can remove the engine cover) I'm getting a "2FDA:Crankcase ventilation, system check" code. I've since checked the breather hose and connections (all seems good) and I've re-seated the connector on the electric module a few times to clean any possible oxidation. I'm still throwing the 2FDA code. Has anyone run into this problem? Any idea what that module is with the electrical connector? Perhaps a pump, or maybe just a sensor? My next step is to try and clean the breather hose and then after that just replace it, but would rather avoid (blindly) throwing a part at the problem (and the $200).

Thanks for any help.
