2006 Z4M Navi HeadUnit Issue

Greetings to the forum

Have a 2006 Z4 M Roadster with the Nav and DSP.

Here is my issue - all of a sudden the Headunit screen is getting tempermental.

Sometimes it opens and sometimes it doesnt..........

When it doesnt open fully it goes up about a 1/3 of the way and stops.

The tilt controls are no longer functioning but if I gently push the screen up to open the rest of the way the screen comes on or at least it has so far.

Never used to do this before and now out of the blue it started doing this today.

Any advice here? Workarounds? Is this a portent of bad things to come?
