So glad for this thread. After several track days with grippy gloves I tore up the leather on my existing (otherwise excellent) knob. Enter Storm V1. Crazy easy switch and looks awesome!

I should point out that the Storm V1 is even lower and substantially heavier than the ZHP it was replacing. No complaints here based on a short drive. The test will be a Mid-Ohio track weekend coming up in October.

Reporting back after two days each at MidOhio and VIR - this is an excellent and simple upgrade. I prefer it over the stock and ZHP.

This thread was super helpful - I was considering the F10 M5 knob project, but opted for the v1 from storm motorwerks instead after reading reviews. Unboxing it was shockingly heavy haha, but it truly transforms the shifter feel, super smooth. Looks great. Very pleased.
