TPMS will not reset
I've read up on this and haven't had any luck.
Had an alignment done and since then the TPMS light ( ! ) will not reset. 1. checked the air pressure and its fine 2. tried holding the ( ! ) button both with the car in 2nd position and running No luck. It goes off for a few seconds and come right back. ; ( |

When you turn the car on, hold the button so that it kind of halts a bit, but comes back on. Then drive off around a block or two. Bring it up to some speed, and it should go away. I've found that the car usually needs to be rolled to reset it. If it doesn't work, keep retrying by parking the car, turning off the car and pulling the key out, then re-inserting and starting the car back up, work the button, etc. etc.
Just rinse and repeat until it's gone lol G'luck! |

According to the manual, turn the car on, hold the button until it comes on, roll away until light goes off.
I had this when I first got the car. Started freaking out like WTF! I just got this car!! read the manual, good to go.

thanks guys.
i tried the methods above several times/combinations but the light just keeps returning. spoke with a tech and he said in my situation i should initiate 2 times which resets the whole TPMS. going to give this a go in a few hours. |
