aftermarket tach?

any ideas on a stealth aftermarket tach location? is it possible to place one in the stock location? btw this will be a functional and needed item for a high reving na project. thanks

I don't know anyone that passes 9k for an s54, are you doing a swap?

2.5 w/ 3.0 crank, forged pistons/rods, cams, headers, world challenge head

nope, hydraulic lifters. i guess i was wrong about the higher revs (7500). at least i know that the schrick 272/256 cams are out of the question. thanks for the help

Right 7500 is about the max, and that's really pushing it even with better valves. I imagine though if you wanted you could just use the on board computer diagnostic thingy if your car has it (it should) to display the revs whenever you wanted to go that high.
