Rotor Rust Dust!

Washed the car on Sunday. Took the car to work today and saw this - No point in getting "dustless pads"

The solution to this....

This is not brake pad dust - it is surface rust dust from your brake rotors.

The rust occurs when you washed the car.

To prevent 100% of this surface rust when washing your car, simply spray the Hyde's Serum Rust Stopper on the rotors prior to washing the car.

I've been using it for years and it works 100%.

I would detail and deep clean my OZ Ultralegerra rims (they are black) and the rims looked like hell within driving 10 miles.

I thought it was clear from my post title that it was rotor rust and not pad dust I was poking fun at dustless pads in my comments when rotor rust is more prevalent after a wash.

Thanks for the Hyde's Serum Rust Stopper suggestion - I may give that a try in the future.

I need more coffee before answering posts....

THIS.STUFF.WORKS.
It prevents rotor rust and wiping out clean wheels.

Yes, it is a three-step process

1. Source a EU Z4M Headlamp Switch Module
2. Swap the faceplate to avoid reprograming the LSZ module
3. Code this line PIN_20_ALS_NSL to activ in LSZ module

YAY Eggman!
Such a time on Vancouver Island....we love traveling to the island from Seattle and enjoying the incredible Great Pacific Northwest beauty.

The motorsports circuit looks entirely awesome! Tell us about the track, elevation change, etc. And the supporting structures are beautiful.

We've never traveled to this area of the island, but it in now a must-see. Very beautiful and very civilized!

I really miss travelling to Oregon and Washington. I've got a bunch of partrs stuck at a shop in Portland - had planned to go down for an upgrade and hit PIR way back in April! Hoping that by Spring of 2021 the border opens up.

The circuit is *brilliant* imo. I've driven on lots of tracks, most of them as a young man. This is the best learning track I've ever driven - challenging, fun, mostly safe. The Tilke Group designs many of the modern F1 tracks. They are criticized for making some very "sterile", but I can say the track design at VIMC is brilliant. And the curbs... oh the curbs hehe, they are F1 caliber entry, apex and exit curbs with smooth surface where you run to run on or beyond them, and ridged surface where you need to respect them and the boundary the curbs define. It's a lovely track.

Here's my PB lap, at least 2 second faster before I would be "happy" with my driving.

It was a lovely stay. Restaurnt was excellent, room was good, bed was comfy, dog friendly, and adequate for kids.

Some day this madness will end and I hope to meet you in person, up here or down there.
