Tapping reverse light power

Any issue to tap the reverse light power when in reverse for backup camera ?

Probably not, but to be safe on how much additional load you're adding, I would couple the mod with an LED replacement.
The power reduction from switching to LEDs will cover the power for the camera and you'll still come out ahead.
No bulb-out sensing on the reverse lights.

Which LED bulb did you go with or that you would recommend? Any anomalies using LEDs such as "glowing" when the car is off and/or flickering while reversing?

I tapped the reverse light for my backup camera and it works fine. Although, different cameras may have different power requirements. Which are you going to install?

Relay

I tapped my reverse light power for my backup camera but put a relay in box with the battery. Everything was close and easy. I have been using it for 2 years with no problem.

Thanks, sorry I stop working on this. any specific brand of relay to use ? I just have some cheap chinese camera I ordered.
