Help: Error Code 5E14 CAN Timeout DSC
Ran Carly this weekend and got the following error, is this simply because my current wheels don't have TPMS and therefore the DME can't establish communication? Or is there a bigger issue going on like faulty DSC module?
No actual lights on dash, not yet at least... Last edited by 3002 tii; 09-12-2023 at 11:32 PM.. |

Did you clear the code and it showed back up again?

That would be a different problem. The TPMS sensors themselves don't communicate over the can bus. The can bus is a wired network. I'd just clear it and see if it comes back in the future. Several things can cause erroneous network codes.

I think I had this error code (along with a DSC light) after I reset all adaptions in the engine. Clearing it just bought it back. I drove the car around the neighbourhood and reset the codes again and it disappeared.
Maybe just drive around a bit and see what happens? -gc |
