Decent couple days on the river with the kids and their children, if you ignore the evening mosquitoes, only one horseshoe game, and getting embarrassed at chess.

Lots of smoky haze again today. Air quality is "Very Unhealthy." We have an air purifier in the living room with an AQ sensor in it. I opened a window in the adjacent sunroom and within minutes the sensor in the purifier kicked it into high gear. I closed the window and the purifier went back to its normal near-silent operation within a minute or two.

No riding outside today. I rode 22 miles outside yesterday and today I feel like I have a mild chest cold. We need some rain and a change in the wind direction.

We've had wind (coming from the north apparently) and rain but the smoke seemed to be forced lower because of the low cloud ceiling.. Can't win.

I don't have breathing problems but really feel bad for those who do. Outdoor jobs like landscaping, roofing, road work, etc would be terrible.

It's a fucking inferno. I want to move to the mountains. Doesn't help that I've gained 35 lbs in the last 6 months. I'm at my wits end with this heat and weight.

T-Storms last night sort of cleared the air. AQ is still listed as Unhealthy. More storms coming through today, though. We needed the rain, so all is good.

Warm, muggy and hazy. Sure hasn't stopped all of the Taylor Swift fans from coming downtown today. She is playing tomorrow and Saturday night and it's supposed to be a cluster f*ck downtown! No thanks..

Nasty T-Storm just blew through. Power is out, which is a rare thing here.

It's fucking ridiculous here today. I'm gonna have to get some air purifiers if they can't get this shit under control.

I'm with JJ on warm temps: 80F is OK, but 90F or more is miserable. It's 87 and heading up today. The A/C is going on.

That’s how I feel too, Llarry. Probably for many of us that's our threshold.

Today is okay (84°F) but the next 4 days are in the upper 90s then it goes down a little to upper 80s.

The storm that hit us today. I can't believe how much damage it caused in just 5 or 10 minutes. Trees down everywhere.

Today it's 83F and 60% humidity with an unhealthy helping of smoke. Gross enough to not want to be outside.

Was supposed to be 98°F today. So far, only 93°F with a new predicted high of 94°F. Yay?

No rain for a month and then 4-1/2" in 3 days. Feast or famine.
