E46m3 suspension—-> 2004 e85 3.0

Guys I have a stock e46 M3 struts and shocks I wanna know if I can put it in my Z4.

The issue with the M3 design vs the non M is the strut shaft, which is different due to the height of the overall top mount assembly, and the fact that is offset.

You may make it work if you use the Z4M top mounts with M3 struts on a non M Z4.

I went ahead and did it, didn't have to replace anything the suspension went on perfectly
