LEGO S54
Bought this a couple weeks back, but finally got the chance to build it. A replica LEGO S54 made by ReplicaMotorsport. The initial batch of 25 sold out very quickly, but if anyone here is interested they are doing a second batch later today at 9pm pst. Details on the replicamotorsport IG page.
Fun little project and nice little desk accessory. There's a timelapse on my IG post here: https://www.instagram.com/p/BudbOIJh...=14b01jih7vml8 Here's a pic of the final product: |

Was going back and forth on new wheels, either OEM 219/260’s or Apex. Decided to go with Apex EC-7’s (they just finished a group buy). Just need to pick some sticky tires before summer rolls around!

My first and last top down drive of 2019. Took the Z out to fill up the gas tank and added some Stabil.
Car is going to be in hibernation with a battery tender until I can get around to bulletproofing the S54. I've got no service history with the car so I'm kind of done playing the lottery with it. The thing is, when you go that deep into the car, you start thinking about refreshing the entire 93k mile OEM suspension too. I'll get it eventually, got too many other priorities this year.

I like it as a DD, but wouldn't love it as an only car. It's decently comfy, roomy for its size, looks great (absolutely love Misano Blue), is super quiet for its category and easily gets 32 MPG on the hwy. Admittedly, it's a company car, so I don't have to pay what these go for normally. Was worth it to keep the M's clean!

Saw this on a BMW Instagram post and the GF liked it, so I decided to do my own install...had to make this professional level, of course!
-2 sets of lights, independently controlled, 1 set front grills, 1 set interior (8, 1ft led strips total) -bluetooth control modules -unlimited color possibilities -wired directly to fuse box -switched power to save on parasitic battery drain -all wiring hidden in cabin paneling and bundled in engine bay (over 50ft!) Just need to secure the lights in the grill area and reinstall front grill |

Glad to see somebody else do this JDM mod. I replaced my 3rd brake light years ago, (and again since, nuther story), so I put the old one behind the grill. Light was fine except the lens was shattered. Now it looks like my engine glows red hot.

Bought it a while ago but just finished installing it. Just have to load the tune and then wait for the weather/roads to get nicer before I can actually hear it. But so far I'm happy.
