Looks like you have a CA license plate from what I can see. Is the car registered/located in CA?

I bought it in CA and drove it home to Park City. I had to travel to get the color combo.

They don't give you license plates from where you buy the car... they give them to you from where you live and where you register it. Plus plates are non transferable. Weird excuse.

Plus, as nice of a car as it is there are people selling '07 Ms for $30,000 that are in amazing shape as well. I tried to trade up and was offered WAY below KBB for my car. Regardless, good luck with the sale.

p.s. Might want to say what options it has.

So... the car was registered in CA, but you re-registered it in UT after you drove it back (old pictures)?

Sendkcone, if you sell yours for $30k, I'll buy it today. Seriously.

CA DMV will not let you drive a new car off the lot without paying sales tax in CA. The only way to avoid that is to have a shipper pick the car up. I have not yet re-registered the car in Utah. It has CA plates and a CA title. Someone said nice excuse....Excuse for what?

In my research, I have not seen a Z4MC sell for $30k, did I miss something? Please show me some comps so I can tell if I'm overpriced.

I can't even see the bike. Is it in the reflection? The only bike I see in the photo is the KTM 950 ADV but yes, there is a WR250R behind that. Perceptive.

Thanks for the bump. Can I get some feedback on whether or not this should sell at this price? I see this as an incredible value so if I find it is worth less than $36k, I will likely keep it and sell another car. Thanks.

Bump for a great car at a great price! I think your price is very reasonable and right on target.

I may be in the same boat as you soon...as I'm thinking about selling my '07 M Coupe as well.

36k sound like a very reasonable price for cars like urs its actually towards the lower side especially considering urs to be a 07 with only 2300miles. Personally i hope u can keep the M coupe.

Couple reasons for keeping the coupe
1.It looks fantastic parked among exotic sports cars
2. Its going to be the last raw bmw in bmw history
3.It wasn't very affordable by many and many walked away from it cause its an expensive car that is raw therefore only a small amount were produced so it might possibly become a all time classic bmw.
4. It drives extemely well even when compared with cars like 911 and AM and higher end performance car.
5. U can use it as a daily and it will not ruin ur life
6.The S54 engine has a lot of potential and if u want more power in the future u can always supercharge it with the ESS kit which seem to be very stable.

With all due respect to the other posters, current owners of Z4M's are not going to be the most reliable source of pricing information for this car. M owners love their cars (as they should) and this puts a bit of an upward bias in the estimates I see. I would sooner try to dig out data from actual used car sales. For instance, in other forums I've seen quotes of people getting recent fully optioned M Coupes for ~$32K.

I hate to say it (cause it means I should have waited until now to purchase as well), but all Z4s have seriously tanked in value - recent Si coupes are probably worth low $20s and M's probably not much over $30. It hurts, but that's the truth of the market. We as fans will always value them much more highly than their open market price.

I do not see where your price is out of line. The Z4 coupes are selling in the high $20s and the Ms are from $32,000 on up so $36,000 is not over priced. Nothing is selling fast in this economy. Great looking car, good luck with the sale.

The 2006 MR that I was thinking about is not selling for 30K but it has right over 20K miles as well.

If I could get rid of my car with no negative equity I would be buying a new/slightly used MC for sure.

For reference, I was looking to upgrade to a new MC and the dealership quoted me $9,200 less than KBB for a trade in (even less than private party) saying that is just what they are going for right now.

Sucks, I know. Good luck with the sale.

Given that KBB for my '07 Z4C is now ~$33K private party and $30K trade in, that suggests that my guess of low $20's as the true value is, unfortunately, pretty accurate.

32k would be a desperate sale and 34k would be a great buy for anyone and 36k is fair market value from what I see. I just purchased mine 2 month ago and I was researching for a long time...btwptions don't seem to have an impact over 1k on the overall price

please keep the m coupe!!

Some great feed back. I appreciate it. Just received a $32k sight unseen offer but will try to sell at $36k for a bit. If it doesn't happen, I'll be back on the road when the snow stops flying. Thanks for your help.

Agree with others on pricing. I've been shopping for the right MC for about two months or so now, so I've looked at a lot of M's. Yours is certainly not the lowest 07 M I've seen, but it's at a relatively attractive mileage/price point. As reference, a similar deal that I've come across recently is an '08 with 8k miles listed at $35.5k (autotrader). There are also handful of guys that have scored new ones for ~$38k!

That said, I would have to admit that even in the short span that I've been shopping, I've seen a significant drop in pricing. I realize that at some point, owners will choose to keep their cars, than to practically give it away, but given the trend, I am choosing to be patient just a little longer.

If you're in no hurry to sell (and it seems like you're not), I would say keep the price where it is, hoping to land that guy that wants the exact combo you have (color, options, low mileage). Otherwise, as I mentioned, price seems to be moving downward pretty quickly.

+1 totally agree

M had a small market to start with and with this economy the market gets even smaller. Best bet is just to keep it. Its so new not worth taking the hit.
