About time- exhaust

I bought my BMW Z4SI on October 4th last year. The same month, I found the Z4's exhaust (used, of course) on eBay. I bought it because it was stainless steel and had two pipes coming out the back. Yesterday, I got it installed; life sometimes gets in the way of having fun! After seeing what other Z4 owners did with their cars, I decided to take the pre-muffler and muffler off! For me, what a great choice! To hear the 6-cylinder come to life, with authority yet not very loud, with a little drone, and now sounding like a sportscar, a happy man am I. Yes, I hear the radio just fine but I turned it off so I could hear the engine! The part that surprised me was how much the pre-muffler and muffler weighed!

I want to add a plug-in for Tri-State Muffler and Brakes, which did the work in the Cincinnati area. They are also the ones who did the work on my BMW128i. Good people, reasonable prices, and great work! West Galbraith Rd. 513-385-8181

Nice set-up. What is the brand name of the exhaust you purchased on eBay?

It is called Wickedflow, and it is a USA company. I took the muffler and pre-muffler off, and it is kind of loud. Had I known, I would have left the pre-muffler on. Live and learn. But it is sweet music, hearing the deep sound of a straight 6-cylinder going down the road that a BMW emits. Wonderful!
