I have never been happy with the 1->2 upshift. I heartbeat shift, etc., never nail it unless I'm really going for it which is annoying because you can't do that all the time.

I have a Z3MR with an S54 but the PO replaced the clutch with an M5 unit and lightweight flywheel. Butter. Love it.

I don’t have an M car, but i’m experiencing the same problem on my coupe. I’m currently running Liqui Moly Top Tec MTF 5200 75W-80.
Ford oil is hard to get in Europe, has anyone had success with any other oils?

I am using Ravenol MTF-2 with good results, but not sure if it will solve your problem or not.
