Description
Selling a very good condition set of SSR Type C RS in 18x9.5 et35 (square). For those unfamiliar with the lineup, the Type C RS ("Racing Spec") is much stronger and lighter than its non-RS counterparts. These wheels feature forged centers and weigh in only at 18lbs. These were basically the TE37s before the TE37s!

Condition
I used these sparingly over the years, mainly as a track day setup. All wheels are straight & true, and they have never been repaired. However, I did refinish them a few years ago to change up the look. The original finish was painted anthracite but I had the lips machined and centers powder coated to gunmetal. I then applied ceramic coating and slapped on new decals. An additional plus is they come with authentic raised SSR caps with BMW logos.

Overall, I would rate the wheels 9/10; docking a point because:
1. Lugholes have scratches (almost unavoidable for JDM wheels)
2. One of the BMW decals is peeling (never bothered replacing since it’s likely to reoccur during track use from heat)
3. There are few random spots with brake pad deposit caked on (thanks Hawk)

All of the above imperfections are quite minor and hard to spot. But I’m also really OCD when it comes to my car so just giving full disclosure.

Price & Location
Wheels are located in Fairfield County, CT. Local sale is preferred but I am willing to ship at buyer's expense. My asking price is $1300 OBO picked up and that includes 4 wheels + caps (no tires or TPMS). I will try to upload more photos later in the week, just need to pull out of storage. Check my iTrader feedback, DM me with any questions.

These classic JDM wheels are super rare and look great on any BMW. Rims feature machined lip with powder coated centers. Only reason I'm considering selling is to downsize. I have 3 sets of wheels for 1 car that only sees 3,000 miles per year lol.

I'd rate overall condition 9/10. All wheels are straight and true but there are some random nicks around the center cap. One of the caps is starting to peel due to heat from track. Assuming they can be re-glued on or just replaced with decals.

Listing is for wheels and center caps only, no TPMS or tires. Asking $1500 OBO picked up in CT. I'm wiling to ship at buyer's expense (will vary by zip code). Check my iTrader feedback, DM if interested.

(Don't mind the brake dust on the lips)
Nice wheels

Man this is tempting. Lol. how do you like the brake setup for the car? Any knockback or change in bias?

I'm really happy with the 996 kit. It's not perfect but it's way better than stock and I generally think it's the best bang for your buck, especially when you consider its compatible with existing rotors (which I no longer pay for since I get free lifetime warranty replacements from FCP).

No knockback or weird wear patterns. Everything performs as it should. If you do go this route, just be sure to run non-S front pads in the rear (as opposed to Cayman S rear pads in the rear).
