Yeah, the 108's have to go. I'm thinking about one of these:

If you meant the rear lip/diffuser, yes it is CF vinyl.
The trunk face is done in gloss vinyl black. Used it as a end point for the stripes. I did not want the stripes to continue down the trunk.

Going to get the 108's plastidipped and use them as my winters. And then get some CH's or the Beyern Multispoke as my everyday wheel setup.

I would def go with the CH's to pull the look together. I always liked the Beyerns but with the look you started you def need a race inspired wheel. Call me crazy but the CH's might pull this thing together. Glad to see others modding for themselves.

Put on your flame suit, here comes an honest opinion:

You've basically hid the lines of a gorgeous body with a plethora of random angular shapes with zero taste. Good thing you got the round center gas cap covered, and the "I'm out of the body shop" look with an unpainted side sill to finish it off.

You've even managed to combine gloss black into the mix, for who knows what reason.

The tow-hook screams Ebay

Its too busy, but its OK, because I'm sure you'll get sick of it in a few weeks. BUT this is only one man's opinion, and an opinion is NOT a fact. Beauty is in the eye of the...blah blah

*reads post, waits a few minutes, takes off flame suit*

TSSSSSSSSSSSSSSST

Remember I'm a young'n here. 25 years old; so my taste will differ for those who like to keep things "clean" or as OEM as possible

dammit ZStig why so hostile! lol Just kidding. I understand your concerns. However, I don't feel the same way as you. I did what I did for a reason. The gloss black was added as an end point for the stripes. I wanted stripes but I did not want this:

So I combined the E46 stripes with this:

P.S. Tow hook is from Bimmian not eBay

I'm sorry if I offended, sometimes its fun to be mean

You did just admit that you tried to combine 2 design elements. I think that is why it looks too busy

For the record, I have a very similar tow hook in all black, but I keep it in the trunk

Lol not offended at all. Glad you're honest and at least listed your views. I'd much rather get a constructive flame rather than just a "I don't like it. bye" post.

Yeah, I suppose so. I might wrap the skirts blue next spring, as I am tucking this away for the late fall/winter seasons.

The reason I have the tow hook screwed on is...(wait for it)...the tow hook cap is hiding somewhere near the battery . I was doing a sweep of the trunk, and forgotten I had left the cap there, it then slid near the battery when I picked up the lower board. I kinda forgot about it there as I needed to fish it out, or remove the battery. Once I get it out I will need to wrap it in blue and stick it on. Tow hook is temporary

Thanks! Most decals out there were of BMW Performance or BMW Motorsport. I am against M stuff being on non M vehicles.

Here is the ebay listing for the decal for those interested:

Bayerische Motoren Werke AG Decal

I think the stripes look good, wouldn't do it myself but I like them.

The sides need some work, the bottom halves black and black gas tank just doesn't work. I think if you spend some time sketching you might come up with something cooler, maybe following one of the lines of the body or cutting it in an interesting way.

I don't love the trunk, but it's definitely interesting to look at.

Keep at it! The more you mod the better you get at it.
