Evening drive

i missed one of the most beautiful skies this evening, but manged to shoot a couple of pics anyways. i will be hunting the next week for a gorgeous sunset shot, but after missing this amazing burning flame, i dont feel so confident haha

How do you get your car to sparkle while the background is dull? Is that just the result of a good camera or did you have to photoshop it? Mine doesn't even glow like that in real life after I get it detailed!

The car is really clean but i dull the background saturation as well to keep the image less busy and focus on the car. Low aperture gives the less focus look on the camera settings

I do come back to occasional fingerprints lol. Since the M coupe is a bit of a rare breed I also shock people when I tell them it's a 2006

Thanks for the camera tip. It's funny you say that about the coupe. I think the Z4 in general isn't that common so most people are shocked that my roadster is nearly 12 years old too. Most people don't know anything about cars that aren't named Camry or Accord so as long as it's not a boxy car they assume it's just a few years old as long as you keep it clean and garaged.

Always enjoy your pics of your Moup! Had a similar sunset last week...not as impressive as yours but nonetheless looked like a raging fire just beyond the tree line.
