uk Ti roadster in the typical uk weather.

Went for a lovely long drive today for absolutely no reason what-so-ever, the noisy exhaust making such a gorgeous noise with the roof off, some serious bangs on high rev change ups.... sounds totally exotic, really great, i absolutely love this car, it just feels so so so right, took my time morning, nothing crazy, got back and decided to grab some pics. Back at curborough in 2 weeks where i intend to claim the top spot back for the class and hopefully put some really good numbers down... will be interesting to see if the car is faster in this lighter state or with the better aero of the HT.... The car is pretty dusty right now and rally needs some love so I'm slowly going over it all with fine comb brush. Not the best day for pics so heres what i ended up with.

Note ; finally found some roof hole covers!! the car looks so nice with the top off now, they also reduce wind noise massively, if you can find a set buy buy buy! These are trading hands in the uk now for silly money! like 400 bucks silly!

i love the weight savings, i love the sound it makes, i love the look, but the drone and sheer volume are beyond enjoyable I'm afraid. its totally anti-social...

It's still has decent volume but much more quiet than rpi. I actually sold mine because I found it too quiet

This vid was taken without the x-pipe which I really can't tell the difference. Watch the vid on a pc with a decent bass woofer and you'll get a close feel to what it sound like in real life. I think there is very little drone.

I wish I had news! They should be here any day..apparently. I will report here asap.

In the mean time, I asked Z4dugh about his sport mufflers, this is what he said:

The Eisenmann sport exhaust mufflers have been great, nice sound improvement but not too overbearing. Maybe a slight drone but not uncomfortable for riding in. They do give off a smell for the 1st 100 miles, like rotten eggs. Very nice finish with stainless, and easy install.

His thread is called 'Happy Detailing', posted about 3 weeks ago.

What an awesome day! Had the day off work and my mufflers turned up this morning

OK, So. Beedub. Just got back from a decent drive around the hills here and first impressions are good, definitely a deeper tone and a bit more volume overall than OEM with no drone at all. They also sound clearer than OEM with the pops coming through better and just an overall fatter sound and they look sweet - I'm stoked with the 83mm quad tips as they fit the bodywork heaps better but the ovals would be something different for sure. No doubt they'll relieve your ears from the RPI's, when I had the OEM mufflers off I started her up to get taste of the RPI's and WHOA! awesome but my neighbors would kill me.

The only downside to these mufflers is that they weigh pretty much the same as the OE (heavy), but maybe a bit of weight over the rear axle isn't such a bad thing..
