Definitely interested - depends on price!

Varis is a wee bit busy. Slek looks less functional, but slightly cleaner without the middle vent.

I love the lines of the M hood. That with two functional vents sculpted in to match the lines of the hood, with rain shields, would be a nice starting point imo. Maybe somewhre in between the size of the Slek and Varis hoods ? (likely closer to the Varis hood for functionality).

Definietly form over function, but these need not be mutually exclusive.

I would paint mine body colour on the exterior. Definitely want to preserve windshield washers and oem hood fitment and latches.

Look forward to progress!

Cheers,
Eamonn

That's very close to what I've envisioned. Not over the top and functional but if you add M lines to it, it'll be too busy.

I posted on IG that maybe a hood with a bulge like the E92 M3 or E71 X6M LCI could look nice. I believe there was a few videos online of an Imola red Z4MR with a design like that and it looked good.

The GTS/CS hood is badass but I don’t think it’d look good on the E85/86

those hoods with the slide hole in the front center is great IF you modify your whole airflow route that forces the air coming in through your radiators out the top front ala GTR style. Oem doesnt do that. It would be quite hard to do that without major surgery on your car. I think Micheal is the only one whos managed to do this to an extent. Awesome to see more options from Skyer for our car, abosultely awesome

Finally found it. Correction; it's not a Z4M but a non M Z4. Hood is the focus here though!

We do it right, the first time.

Already a satisfied customer of your prior projects. Only reason I'm asking is bc redoing a bunch of maintenance items + clutch... just trying to properly allocate funneling my resources so it flies under my wife's radar

Modified hood

The stock hood can be modified, but as Vanne points out, requires a bit of underhood surgery. The cross member needs to be shaved to allow for proper interface to extract air up and out. As for the hood, it just requires a Dremel and a steady hand...😎

Subbing to see where this goes.

No input at this point except I'd prefer be based on the M -Hood shape as I need the extra clearance. My dinan intake rubs the stock non-M hood.

Design is not finalized yet but shipping an OE to manufacturing facility is a must.

We can tinker and create a poll while the hood is being shipped.

Going to pick up an OE hood from the yard and it'll cost us $700 alone.. plus crate shipping overseas..

but we gotta do what needs to be done!

Does your center vent design have any clearance issue under the hood at all?

Taking a bit longer due to this Coronavirus craze.
So the diffuser and front lip project will have priority before the hood.

Our Initial assessment on the pricing will be between $2000 - $2700, are people still interested with that pricing?

Please let me know..

Appreciate the update. Yes, I'm interested at that price point but would like to see generally what it's going to look like. Thinking of pulling the trigger on a Varis hood but would like to weigh my options (and support smaller companies like yours).
