NEW PICTURES ADDED / PRICE REDUCED $32499

I have decided to sell my 2007 Z4 M Coupe that currently has 45,200 miles. I’m the third owner, I purchased it directly from the second owner in July 2017 with approx. 41,500 miles. The car is an extremely clean, well maintained, low mileage example. Adult owned, garage kept, never tracked, non-smoking, no accidents, no paint or bodywork.

The only reason I’m selling it is, I have an itch for a 911 that I just need to scratch. The car is an absolute pleasure to drive and I’m sure I will probably regret this decision down the road.

Details and Options:

VIN: 5UMDU93427LL93805

Year: 2007

Interior Trim: Carbon Leather

Condition:

It is in super clean condition with the normal wear you would expect given the age and mileage. A few rock chips on the front a light scratch or two nothing major or worth noting. Some of the usual scrapes on the bottom of the front valance that were all present when I purchased the car. The paint is all original and in excellent shape. No accidents, never had any body or paint work of any kind.

The wheels are in excellent condition with zero curb rash and are virtually brand new as are the tires with only approximately 1500 miles on them.

The interior is in excellent condition with no issues, everything functions as it should. Actually, the ashtray all the sudden won’t stay closed. I’ve read this is fairly common and a relatively easy fix which I will look into. Please note that this vehicle does NOT have the antiquated navigation system that most seem to have. With it being a weekend driver one of my requirements was NO nav system.

Maintenance:

The previous owner was a BMW enthusiast that performed his own maintenance changing the oil annually regardless of mileage. He purchased it in 2010 from Bellevue BMW in Seattle at the time of his purchase had the inspection 1 performed including a valve adjustment. I have correspondence with him that confirms this as well as other general maintenance.

During my ownership, I have had the following work completed.

-Complete Vanos rebuild and update with Beisan System parts
-Rod bearings upgraded with OEM WPC Treated Bearings and OEM Bolts
-Valve adjustment
-Oil service / April 2018
-Transmission fluid
-Differential fluid
-Air filter
-Oil service / April 2019
-Steering fluid
-A/C belt

Modifications:

-Apex ARC-8 Wheels w/ Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 Tires / approx. 1500 miles
-Stromung Exhaust – (OEM mufflers included)
-BMW ZHP illuminated shift knob.
-BMW stubby antenna
-Bluetooth adapter

Included with the vehicle:

- (2)original keys
-All original manuals
-2007 BMW Z4 M sales brochure
-OEM Mufflers
-OEM Antenna
-Digital File Including
-PDF Manual
-Maintenance w/ supporting pictures (during my ownership)
-Receipts
-Carfax (from my purchase)

I’m asking $32499.

Now offered here, Cargurus and locally on Craigslist.

Please pm me with any questions.

Great car. All the potential weak points addressed. GLWS!

You could always upload the Autocheck to Google drive and share a link to it to get around the attachment issues

GLWS!

Local socal owner

went from Z4MC for 5.5 years to 997.1 911S for 2.5 years and now back to Z4MR since last September!

911 was sweet but the one I want is a GT3!

That being said, I am local in socal if there's anything you want to part out / return to stock =]

Best, Joe

Dude don't reduce the price.

I've said it a thousand times. This car requires the "right buyer." As in someone looking specifically for this car. There's only 1,800 or so available in North America, and frankly the buyers are motivated and will pay what you ask for.

Except there's only so many buyers out there. Therefore, it's going to require a ton of patient to sell, as the right buyers don't come along every day. Sometimes you get lucky, and someone's looking for the car at the right time, and it sells within weeks. Most of the time, you have to wait for the right person to be looking for this car. And that whole process can take months, even YEARS.

Take my car for example. I have always said I will never sell it. And it's true. But I also know half a dozen friend that absolutely lust over MY car. Not the MZ4 Coupe, MY CAR. If I were to ever put it on the market, say, for $35,00, I'd get 3 offers within 30 seconds of deciding to sell. They know me, they know the history of my car, and they know how obsessive I take care of it, and they all know how "rare" it is.

But I'm never going to sell.

In my case, I've already got buyers lined up should I ever choose to sell it. But I AM well connected within the BMW enthusiast community (pat myself on the back there). For your average seller? I'd hang out here, build some relationships, get to know other owners, get to know other BMW enthusiasts, list them on OTHER forums and sites. To sell this car it's almost going to take the same strategy as selling an exotic or collectible (except it's not).

But you have to be patient. And the right buyer to come along WILL pay what you want. Those that won't? Not the right buyer.

The new price is MORE than fair, and I generally agree with The Hack's comments above about the "right" buyer.

When I was in the market again last October, if this car had come along, I'd have been quite willing to pay the full (current) ask, possibly a bit more. I wound up buying a very similar car, 34k miles, $34,500 - but - paintwork on the driver's door (outstanding job and not detectable), 4 previous owners, and none of the expensive pro-active stuff done like the VANOS upgrade. So this car actually more desirable in some meaningful ways, and cheaper - yeah, the right buyer will be on this like a hobo on a ham sandwich. But may take a while to find. GLWS!
