Screen brightness

Is this normal, every time i get in the car i put the screen brightness to max but it always resets itself next time i get in the car.

Also, if you are looking at the audio screen that displays the radio station/etc, is there a way to get the map to show in the big empty space?

Its normal for the brighness to reset.

Don't think its possible to see radio station AND map at same time
