My new "custom" framed poster

Recipe: take a jpg from the BMW press release for the Z4MC from 2006. Create poster online from it via any of the zillion of poster creators on the web (I used posterburner.com). Choose size, & frame if desired. Poof.

The results were spectacular. This one is 28x22 so it's quite large. It has a nice frame and cover material. Total cost, including frame & shipping: $73.47. Could have been much cheaper had I kept it smaller, unframed, etc. But turned out great as it is.

Now I have to decide whether it goes in the den, or out in the garage with the car. Decisions decisions.

I bought that poster via Ebay a few years ago when I had my first coupe, and my GF framed it for my birthday sometime afterwards. They still turn up there from time to time - look frequently and you will be rewarded. I don't have a hi-res source, sorry. But trust me, the original is spectacular.

After buying the first one new in 2007, I received this in the mail from BMW...

We moved last year and I'm not sure where it is, but I know I kept it. I need to find it and get it back up. It's really cool.
