If the front calipers were 4 piston I would be all over this. If anyone is interested in just the front set I might be interested in purchasing the rears.

Why not 6 Pistons for the front? Would this be better for breaking and tracking?

If I didn't just purchased a 2018 S1000RR I would it have taken them from the seller. But still kind of curious to know why no 6 pistons for the front.

Thanks guys.

I really wanted this kit for the longest time. Finally when I got it I ended up getting two new cars and I rarely drive the Z4M anymore.

This kit is in amazing shape. The previous owner Ian was a stand up guy and I've bought a bunch of his parts in the past. The kit is a stellar deal for anyone wanting a good quality bbk for our car. It is over $6,000 new plus taxes.

In BMW club racing, only four piston calipers are allowed in Prepared class. Anything higher will put a car into MOD where the level of car development is significantly higher. Not sure if I will be racing this exact car or not but I want to ensure that any mods I get are legal.

Aside from that, I think that the 4/6 piston setups are a wash with proper air ducting.
—- 6 pot seems to have smaller piston diameter, slightly heavier hardware and more expensive pads. However, the pads last a little longer due to the cooling advantages.

—- 4 pot is slightly lighter and pads are a little cheaper but may need to be changed more frequently. Also having the ability to swap pads front/rear sounds appealing.

This is a great deal from reputable forum members though and I would be all over it if not for the CCA legality concern.

Just DM'ed you. Does this setup lose the parking brake like the PFC kit does or not?
