Roof not lifting up

Hello! I own a 2006 bmw z4m roaster and the roof happily
Goes down but when it comes to coming up, nothing, doesn't won't to go.

Still locks when I pull it up myself. Haven't moved motor from original position.

Any idea what part isn't working?

Motor probably needs replacing as going down is easier than going up…

Could also need hydraulic fluid, but if it's loss is from a leak then too needs to be removed to look at hydraulic hinges. I'd say motor issue is more likely.
