Thumbs up My Dealership Kicks @ss!! Does Yours?

Dealership Review Thread:

Which Dealership, and your experience? So we all know where to go to get our babies serviced!!

Experience: Positive
Dealership Visited: Town and Country BMW in Markham, Ontario, Canada

Work done:
- Transmission Fluid Replaced (Supplied my own RedLine D4ATF)
- Differential Fluid Replaced (Supplied my own RedLine 75w90 Gear Oil)
- Dinan Muffler Installed (Purchased muffler from eBay)
- Wash The Car (And its raining outside )

This dealership is truely a gem, took care of everything in one day, and gave me a courtesy car for me to boot around. I got to drive a brand new 328i this time around with about 670km on the car and a near full tank of gas. They asked that I return it with 3/4 tank and all will be fine. I ran quite a few errands today just to take advantage of it, and I'm still not at the 3/4 mark.

Truely a great service experience. I love this dealership. Also of note, my car is no longer under warranty yet they still provide me with Tier 1 service!

Reason I brought my car here, I don't have the time or tools to do the fluid flush myself, and I don't trust a lot of the private garages around here. Happy as a clam!

Grady BMW

All Fluids replaced, Wipers changed, suspension looked at due to a clicking noise. All done for 160 bucks with tax.

Grady also gave me a 328i to drive around while they were working on my car and I didnt even buy it there, I bought my Z from a Ford dealer.

Also got a car wash then rained on the car so they washed it again.

Havent found a BMW dealer that has been better to me, tried one other and didnt get that personal experience that I got at Grady.

I still haven't found a dealer I'm completely in love with. BMW of Peabody seems to be the best around these parts tho.

Lucky you, the dealerships (or shall I call them Stealerships?) around here are a shit show. new brake pads installed (front) $400. Oil change? $170 replace CV boot $500. Just ridiculous... I do most of my own work myself, since i enjoy walking normally, and not being lubed up with KY before I visit the service department.

Experience: VERY POSITIVE
Dealership: Prestige BMW, Ramsey, NJ

I've been to that dealer about 4 times now and their service only had been great.
Their service prices is 10% cheaper than other dealers around and they are very honest and follows up on me couple times a day to let me know of the status of my car.
Also, I even asked I wanted black 3 coupe as a loaner when I was getting my gas tank replaced since it was going to be a long loaner, and they provided me with exact same car almost fully loaded. Plus they let me drove the car extra 4 days without charge after my car was done since I was on road trip with it and my car was done before their specified finish date.

Oh, of course, a free full car wash is always given.

--------------------

In other hand,

Experience: NEGATIVE NEGATIVE
Dealership: Parkave BMW.

Service advisor was very very shady and nasty.
They originally quoted me $250 more for the gas tank replacement without the loaner and when I told him prestige bmw is quoting me $250 less with a loaner, then he says he will match the price but loaner could not be given and I had to put up with BMW NA if I wanted to complain.

Then, I told him I would want my car towed to Prestige since they are giving me the loaner,
and he goes, " I just remembered that BMW NA is obligated to give out a loaner if stock is back ordered, but we don't have a loaner so we could give you the rental car".

Then I called back that I wanted a BMW loaner and he goes, " sorry we can't do that, you could get it service at other dealer if they are giving you the BMW loaner"

So I called him next day to let him know that I'm towing my car out, and now he says
"I just talked to the manager and we will give you the BMW as a loaner"

I said I lost all the trust on you and wanted my car out.

And then he was very pissed off and started to talk to me in very nasty way.

Anyways, Parkave BMW service department was total BS and full of crap as for my experience.
I would NEVER EVER EVER buy a car a bring my car there.

That's very impressive pricing. Could you recommend a service advisor there?

I'd love to actually get a BMW for a courtesy car, got a red Colbalt last time at BMW Autohaus..
