Did not feel confident about the "bolt it onto the car".

they look to be replicas of the aero skirts. Like someone did a mold of the oem ones. If thats the case, they do just bolt up using factory skirt holes. You would need to drill out those holes it seems though, but I dont believe anything special will be needed.

It looks like those without aero skirts have a second chance

Are these no longer being sold by BMW?

I might sell mine depending on whether whoever buys my car wants the stock side skirts or the aeros (I've kept both). I'll circle back depending on how the sale goes.

Bump this up. Has anyone tried them? The $1700 price difference between these and OEM can pay for a good deal of fitment work.

Irrespective of manufacturer, these bits will need quite a bit of prep work, painting and fitting up. The clips and fittings are still easily available and at reasonable prices. Its quite easy to drop the originals off, fit up your value for money composite replicas, or the real deal, trim to fit, paint and put on your car.
The oem items are easy to copy, nothing complex about them at all, and as the previous poster says $1700 differences pays for a lot of work............
We were interested in a set but invested more wisely in other areas hullo skyer.....hullo rear C/F diffuser

I see that you looked at quite a few of the same mods that I am now considering. What did you end up doing?
