Arrow Newb Comparitive Exhaust Question

Can anyone tell me if or why an exhaust manifold with cats for a BMW 320 with an N46B20 B Engine will or wont fit on a 2008 BMW 2.0 Z4 with an N46B20 engine?

They look identical, the engine block is the same and the sensor points appear to be in exactly the same places.

As the Z4 exhaust manifold looks rarer than hens teeth to obtain yet has a common design flaw that cracks and no doubt will have to find a replacement at some point in the future, was just wondering if anyone could give me a heads up on why this would or would not be an iption?

According to Realoem they are different.

Do a bit of research here to confirm https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/select

Good Luck

Thanks for the reply

Thank you for the reply, its most strange as the one that realoem says is right the image is incorrect as the one for the car has the cats on the manifold but the one displayed is catless. I do however see they are different in where the flange meets the rest of the exhaust.

Thank you so much for the quality link though, really helps a million.
