Hey torchmedia, are you installing the airrex for the 1st time or have you run air before? I'm going to be updating my suspension this year and am interested in the air option.

This is my first time running air, so I am pretty excited about the whole thing. The AirRex struts look great.
Regarding the mixup the other day, it's not quite as bad as I first thought. Yes, the AirRex pieces do have the wrong fittings installed, but apparently it is something I can replace with new parts that will be on the way to me shortly. |

I don't know how that ended up on Instagram, but it's true. One of the worst days of my life, I should have know better than to try out autocross on a rainy day with a newly Sc'd car.
Fortunately(!) the damage was mostly cosmetic -- bumper cover, hood, headlight, and a bit of bumper reinforcement stuff underneath. Didn't touch the SC (thank goodness) or anything on the engine. Car is currently in the shop and should be back in about a week, better than ever. Since I am doing the bumper cover and hood I opted to get the aero side skirts while doing the painting. I also opted to try out the 1M style bumper. |

I just got home from a 3100km trip down to Carlisle Ford in PA. Car ran great but my ears are still ringing from the RPI's and Euro headers / Catless S-pipe combo. SERIOUS drone!
I just spoke to Josh at RPI today and have some silencers being shipped out. They have them in stock now for anyone else who might be interested! OH. And if there was ever any question as to how "functional" the smaller RPI outlets are, check this out. A few days without a bath and a rich VF tune gives it away: |

yes, that is the car sitting on a Dyno. Unfortunately, the guy is a mustang specialist (whom I've visited on several other occasions with previous cars), and once he got crawling under the Z4 he refused to go any further.
He's never done a BMW before and didn't want to take the chance of strapping it down in the wrong place and wrecking something |
