z4m ess s/c 445 kit 1/4 mile run

So i know the z4m really isnt a drag car but my friends and i tend to go to the track once a year to race. I have had the ess kit since it was released and i was woundering how it would do. so heres a video of the first run, the second run had not gone well i broke an axle.... anyone have any ideas where to get aftermarket axles and/or is it the same axles in a e46m3 thanks everyone

nice time, but a bit dissapointed in the speed. I was hoping it would run closer to gen 2 viper levels

damn sucks!! I run my car every week hitting 1.9 60' what were you launching at to break an axle on the second run? wheel hop?

BTW my car on 75 shot hit 12.2 @ 117mph on r888

I launched around 4500 I'd say didn't really see when it happened it hopped thAts why it broke. Also if you listen to the 2nd gear I let off because it felt like clutch a little bit and it was the first run of the day. I feel like I could have run a 12.0 maybe 11 my friends car runs close to mine and was hitting 11s with a little bit better 60 footer..... Granted I did have a 1.7 60 footer

also is this the vt1 or 2? the vid says vt2. what was your 60' and 1/8th?

I can def see high 11's in the future w/o that let off, but I dont see the trap improving much.

this is vt1 445 kit................ throw some 100octane in their and try again on a nice cool day!!! watch the 11 pop up on that display!! more vids please bro if u go back!!

according to tisher bmw ...all I can tell is that the m3 and z4m axle assembly is the exact same cost. msrp 560.63 but can be had for 450 a side. Might be worth a shot at calling the dealer for part numbers on both.

I'd rather have the axles weaker than the diff, driveshaft, subframe mounts, etc...they are the easiest to replace, but at the same time hpf m3's are running them w/ 600+whp w/ only a handful of failures

When you get a chance post up your 1/8th mile results. I want to see how much mph you gained in the last half of the 1/4

I let off in second cause I smelt clutch for a second with the heat blasting I figured I had more runs since that was the first run for the day next time I'm goin for 11s
