Sorry that we did not connect and that you had some issues. I swung over a couple of times but we must have kept missing each other. Your car looked great and sounded phenomenal every time you came down the straight!

Oliver with the Blue coupe was also great to meet, not sure if he is on here.

Hey guys!!
This is Oliver (IB Z4MC)
Afrim hows it going - glad you had a great weekend

These cars are great - and i never get tired of seeing them tracked hard like they were built for!

What are your guys next events - either of you guys doing the Lighting Sat/Sun this weekend with PCA NNJ?

Or am i gonna have to rep the MCoupe crew solo

Also, Afrim -whats your opinion on Rod bearing change - how many mile intervals before you do them

Doesnt apply to your 2J ha you don't have these worries

I'm actually attending a Supra meet about an hour away from NJMP this weekend, but am doing Pocono raceway next weekend with the Z4.

I'm doing quite a few events this year, mostly NJMP/Pocono. Hopefully I'll run into you guys again.

There were some unkown Z4's in the last event - folks I never met nor think are on these forums...

Unfortunately I have a family commitment this weekend otherwise I would have definitely been at either NJMP or the Glen. Doing a PCA CCC next weekend and then TT4C at Lightning later in May.

Looks like the other coupes there were instructor cars and hopefully we can meet them too sometime.

With regards to rod bearings, sounds like around 60K-70K miles is a safe way to go. I did mine at 60K on the dot and they had scoring and wear. Check out this thread for some good info: http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1461006

Hey guys - dumb question... for this CCC, should just use my summer street tires since we'll be sliding around anyway? No need to wear/heat-cycle my track tires, right?

That is what I did last event with rain - put on my Direzza II and had fun sliding and managing the car at those limits. Love the rain!

dre99gsx / 3002 tii or anyone else: How many sessions do you typically get with the PCA DE's? I'm thinking about doing a Schattenbaum event at the end of the month and trying to weight out 1 or 2 day options. Thanks!

At least 4, maybe 5 if they combine last run group. FWIW I’ve never been disappointed with track time with Schattenbaum. More importantly sessions rarely get crowded, they’re good about not over registering and if there are trains, organizers will do their best to move people to different groups.

Overall stand up group of guys, laid back yet very professional. Genuinely have a fun time at their events. Sometimes they do 3 day events where Friday is advanced only open track and I was exhausted mid-day and would have to pit out early lol.

FWIW I am considering 6/29 PCA at Lime Rock...

Thanks for the info! That 6/29 event at Lime Rock sounds good and will definitely consider it!

Come out to RTR this June at NJMP Lightning!

Thank you as well for confirming that! Never looked into RTR but that event looks interesting. I was just out with TT4C last weekend and got 8 20min sessions in.

For June, I was thinking to do TT4C 6/9-6/10 and then PCA 6/28-6/29 but now have a few more options to consider!

Reviving this one from the dead, anyone interested in meeting in NYC or Long Island?
Btw I'm probably installing coilovers on Saturday. In case anyone is around and wants to join.
