2006 Z4 3.0SI with manual

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
I am selling my Z4 SI with a manual with only 32k miles. I am the second owner and bought it in Jan of 2018. The original owner special ordered it as he wanted (paperwork provided). I bought it from his estate sale. I used it as a condo car for a couple of years but have now switched it out with my wife's m240i. I now have the car in MO but have one more car than garage. However, the BMW gets the garage. I would call it a 9.9 out of 10. One very small dent that is hard to see. If I was't quarantined, I would take it to a paint less dent repair to fix. It is stock except for an aux input in ashtray and stubby antenna. Most of you no how rare a SI with a manual is and I'm looking for 15k.

Doesn't the SI have sport seats?

Not as standard equipment. I know they're part of the 'Sports Package' - possibly available as a stand alone option?

My '06 Si coupe did not have the sports package and it doesn't have the sports seats.

They were available as a $500 stand-alone option or as stated above as part of the Sport Package. When I was looking for my Z4 it was a requirement that it had Sport seats.

I have a 2007 Z4 brochure for the US market. It shows M Sport suspension and some other items included in the Sport Package. The M Sport Seats themselves were another, separate, option. Minor detail that explains how my 3.0si coupe with sport suspension did not have them.

I don't know why I'd always assumed the Sport Package included the sport seats. Sounds like they were two separate stand-alone items. I wonder how many had one without the other?

My '06 Si Coupe had neither - it still had the base 17" style 200 rims when I got it. I think the larger 18" rims were also part of the Sport Package.

Still a great car too! Good luck. These are tough times in which to sell a car.
