Fogged windows

My first experience in < 20 degree weather and I can't seem to keep the windows from fogging up. I've tried multiple settings and the only one that seems to work is to keep the defroster on high with the A/C on. This makes the cabin uncomfortably warm and is very loud. Any one with other suggestions or with the same experience?

Open the window a crack to let out the moisture.

Garage List
Clean the insides of the windows real good. All the new vinyl, plastic and rubber let off invisible fumes that gets on the insides of the windows. Even though they look clean, there's a film on the inside. Alcohol works well. My 2007 has the same problem, and needs cleaning every few weeks. Keeping the windows closed and parked in the garage doesn't help but keeps that new car smell.

It happens to me too. Just have heater on two at least. It's somehow less. And clean your windows very thoroughly. Windex and newspaper is just perfect.

You gotta figure out where the moisture is. If the moisture is inside, the defrost should work quickly and effectively. If it's outside, it's easier to remove it with some deicer for sub-freezing temperatures.

If your windows are dirty it could look foggy, try cleaning them with some autoglass cleaner.
