Poll: What should I spend my tax return on?
OK. Got money burning a hole in my pocket. I've been planning on getting some sort of exhaust with it, I just don't know what I want. so here I am asking what YOU would get. lol
My first thought was GruppeM and Supersprint race cans. Then I got to thinking how impatient I can be and didn't want to wait on the GruppeM. Then I thought about getting an X-Pipe instead. Then I thought my budget and all the different things I could do!!! It's frustrating...but in a GOOD way. I've battled the mod bug for this long...now it's time to give in!!! Let me say this for now...I don't really care that much about HP gains as much as the next guy. I like the noise, but gains are nice, since I will be tracking this season. Please don't tear me apart with the whole those intakes are all sound and no gain....

im all about sound as well. I got the afe intake first, and i love it. Sounds great in upper limits of the rev-range, but I'd say its still tame if youre looking to turn people's heads. the RPi exhaust i got recently is a different story.. not as unlivable as many have claimed, (at least imo) and I swear, at half-throttle every neck in audible range is rubberized from trying to see what kind of ferrari is hiding inside your car. very fun stuff.

I don't know.. but I bet you can eat at DB's a lot on a tax return!
Exhaust and intake is always nice - but it's more of a noise statement. Just make sure you stay within any inspection codes when you do make changes. You may want to invest it in wheels and tires for track only use.

Have to agree the Rpi gt race exhaust sounds heavenly , I can't help but smile very time I put my foot down. It sets car alarms off which is a nice touch. And yes it does make it sound like a true super car!
You could then match it with the Rpi scoop intake system. |

Wow, you get money back? Uncle Sam must love you.
I always try to set my W-4 exemptions so that I owe a small amount on April 15. Why loan money to the gov't for free? |

if you have the discipline, by all means this is the way to go. i personally am lazy and would not want to have to factor in my budget potential taxes owed but i 100% agree with you. they're not paying us for interest so no reason to lend for free!

I'm renting (luckily) or else it would most likely go to the house...i'm thinking...mini bar? lol
Want to enjoy the NA for a little while, but S/C is on the list for the future. I'm in the military so I don't really have much of an option. But like ^^ said I don't want to have to budget for April 15th owing a little bit. I'm not good with money (as you can see). Though I do have a market account that I could add to....

Oh. And new tires are already on the spend plan. haha Depending on where I'm at, they're either V12s or something of the sort.
I've also looked into getting a track-dedicated set, but I want to start tracking more first.

My birthday is in March so I already have to pay right over $600 for vehicle registration each year... no need to pay the government something as well.
That and I may lack the constraint to save enough to pay what is owed I enjoy traveling too much.

I have the supersprint powerloops mated to the GruppeM and its a wonderful noise Will be adding Supersprint V2 headers and X-Pipe shortly so I expect the orchestra to kick it up a notch
