Exclamation Ginormous Dust Plume about to Blanket Part of the U.S. from Africa

This is truly amazing and frightening. The fact that this much matter is traveling Thousands of miles across Sea and still holding together and will cover so much of N. America all the way from Africa is pretty epic as the article clearly details.

Half true:

It’s not unusual for dust plumes that originate in Africa to get carried thousands of miles across the ocean, but Gill said this particular event is especially large and intense. NASA astronaut Doug Hurley, who is currently aboard the International Space Station, snapped a dramatic photo Sunday showing the immensity of the plume over the west-central Atlantic Ocean.

Cooling the Atlantic where hurricanes form, resulting in fewer early-season storms. Yet the forecast was for more storms than usual this year. Missed this key element.

I think it’s already here and don’t think it’s that big of a deal. Maybe it will be worse this year but really mostly notice it when local weather talks about it. Too hot to be outside for very long anyway.

Yep. When I lived in FL, we hoped for this every year. I still have property there, so this is awesome news. Bring on the sand cloud.

The MSM is on a fear mongering frenzy. They're all guilty, but CNN in my opinion is the worst offender right now. I don't know what they're doing over there, but it sure as hell isn't even close to being objective journalism.

No, I think the Bigfoot attack got the December slot - Fall is swarms of locusts, frog rain, and then giant man-eating lizards.

We get a few dust clouds blowing up from the south every summer, nothing new here. Once every few years I’d drive up a mountain and watch it come in, pretty cool sight
