Ground Control rear suspension Z4M

Hey guys,

Bought a lightly used Ground Control suspension kit from another member, the rears sit too high, the rear springs are loose, and Ground Control claims that we're "missing 50 parts and it would be better to just buy a new kit from them."

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Ha ha of course it would be better to buy a new kit from them...
Let's see what exactly you have and what you're missing?
If you'd like to lower the rear, why not just do that via the adjustable spring perch?

You'll need a 5 inch spring for the rear if you want it to sit at a decent height. With that spring though it will be loose when the suspension is at full drop. You can stop that by buying the "tall" rear shock mounts GC sells.

You can use bilstein B8 dampers from the non M as they are a good 1 inch shorter compared to Z4M.

Now, doing this without assessing the suspension in general is a poor approach.

I did it as my whole setup was paired with the right spring rate and length, ride height, and lastly the damper.

If needed I have a ton of different spring sizes/rates you could try.
