I know this is an ancient thread, but these cars just look so sick I had to respond. I never really noticed these when they were in production (a little out of my price range at the time, I guess) but they're phenomenally beautiful. The new Z4 isn't even close. I love the tails on these.

Were there any red M coupe's with red interior?

I just have a hater friend who found out I got a TiAg M and then talk of rarity came up and all of a sudden he's seeing M coupe's everywhere one of which he said today was IR on IR which I wasn't sure if they made any. I know he's bs'ing trying to make me feel like I have something everyone else has but we live in a small city in east tennessee and I seriously doubt he's seen the 5 M coupe's he claims he's seen. But I was just wondering for my own interest if there were any red on red cars.

Yes, there are red/red M Coupes - 34 in North America.

I'd be amazed if he saw that many M Coupes in Nashville, much less a small town in TN. I've owned mine since new and I haven't seen 5 on the road in Chicago yet.

Wow great thread with some fantastic shots of the car and some with incredible backdrops too. In particular Rick, your pics are fabulous.

I'm pumped to be picking up my Imola '07 Z4MC next week in Pennsylvania. Looking forward to joining the club!

Sweet! More owners!

Please please post your pics regardless of mods or not. It took this thread over 7 months before someone other than myself had posted pics of their IR cars.

You asked and you got.....

Okay, here's a couple of quick ones just out front of the house. Only had the car back home for 9 days now. Lovin it so far.

Hope to get a few "real" pictures on a trip I'm taking in 2 weeks. Won't have time to clean the car then though.

Thanks. Numerous neighbours have been stopping by.

I got carried away yesterday and had my first serious drive with it.

RIV, DRL's, done. Need an inspection and then off to licensing.

okay, the obligatory front pic.

Haha,
on the long drive home I deliberately took it very easy. I only had the car out 3 more times since for about 15 minutes each before yesterday's outing.

CTC guy spent exactly 15 minutes and was looking at it pretty thoroughly. Have to do something with the tint since can't get it passed for safety with anything on the front windows.

Congrats!

I was just about to compliment your tint job. Oh well... you could just take the tint off then re-tint after inspection.

Thanks.

Yeah, I'm still looking for a station that will turn a blind eye to the tint, although it's probably only a short time before the popo nail me with it anyway.

It'll soon be time to get matching tires, push the wheels out a bit and make her sit a little lower.
