XM Radio Install
So one of the things that I absolutely have to have in my coupe is XM radio. I have a skyfi 2 radio that I move between my (2) cars and sometimes my house, and I'd really like to continue to use it like that.. Over the weekend, I was able to install the antenna. I wedged it in between the windsheld and that little cable that goes to the rear view mirror, so it's out of the way and up there nice and tight..
I would prefer to have it mounted somewhere down low under the HVAC controls, I don't like things interfering with the controls or vents, and I also think it looks kind of tacky. I want to install a second 12v socket to run just the XM radio, so that I don't need to have the ash tray open all the time, and also so that socket is free for a cell phone charger. I was thinking about getting some sort of swivel mount that sticks onto that little panel near the AUX input. Any other ideas?
