Hood rubbing strut towers

I don't know how I didn't notice this before, but the adjustable rubber bump stops under the hood were screwed all the way in and the hood has been rubbing against the strut towers. One side has a tiny wear down to the metal but the other side a ½ in circle is worn.

From my research, the paint under the hood is primer only and BMW uses a different color primer depending on the base coat used, so in my case of Sapphire Black, its black primer made by BASF.

Any tips on how to fix this? Will it blend in well? Will any black primer work, or do I need some BASF black primer?

Also just found the rubber bump stops on the sides of the hood deformed as a cause:

I'll be picking up 2 new ones:

The hood is aluminum and does not "rust." If you're looking to fix for cosmetic reasons, flat black spray paint and careful taping would probably work.

Agreed. I just use the touch up paint that I had for the car.
