Perhaps Ron is packing the shipments in recycled FedEx boxes?
Just emailed him to get a status on mine.

Did the install over the weekend at Sound fo Speed in the Bay area with Jon (super great guy).
First want to thank onebluemcm for his install DIY. The "spawn of satan" was a bitch but not as bad on a lift with proper tools that a good shop has. Also thank mfanatic for the group buy! what a great kit. I now have shifter feel that is on par with my previous S2000, which is awesome. It's a little tight , but to quote cheesy auto journalism... it has "rifle bolt" feel, super tight and great mechanical feel. Bay area folks - Jon from sound of speed will do the install for $140. no need for a "group" install for the rate. Tell him Bill sent you. I would suggest chamfering the washers and removing parts of the interior ahead if you can to streamline the install.

So i got a response asking how many people are interested. so far:
1. SlipNSlide 2. og_m3 3. XMetal Anyone else? I also have a delay in my install since the shifter wasnt machined to accept a threaded knob and am awaiting Ronald's response. Thanks |

i have few questions:
1). If we are using the stock selector rod why are we uncoupling it from the transmission? 2). What is the spherical part in the kit for?

I suppose the NorCal Bay Area guys should just go here then, since they're much cheaper and have already successfully installed for a Z4M. My buddy's GB#2 kit had chamfered washers. Perhaps they need more chamfering? |

Ronald had to document the Country of origin for Customs. Kit is now back on route!

Caddyshk, did you have yours shipped directly to you in Canada? I have a UPS box in Port Huron, so I was going to get him to ship mine there, but sometimes the timing doesn't work out.
Do you know what method he used for shipping? UPS is a nightmare when it comes to the customs brokerage side of things. |

I'm going to guess that since you were one of the last ones to join, that maybe Ronald just got around to boxing yours up and shipping out? Either that or he ran out lolol...but I'm sure he'd let you know if that were the case. |

I'm installing my kit when I'm due for my next half-interval oil change. Going to replace my high pressure power steering line while I'm at it since it's starting to weep.

Got the bad boy installed today. The shop said the washers didn't fit around the knuckle supplied by AS so they used the OEM knuckle.
It feels fine but now I'm worried that I'm not achieving the feel intended from the AS kit. I mean it's nice and crisp...and the shop said the OEM knuckle is great to begin with but...not sure why the AS knuckle and washer was so off in fitment?
