Front Seats any color/condition

Hi all, looking to purchase a set of Z4M seats. Due to shipping costs, I'm looking for a pair in Southern California or within a 5-6 hour drive from Los Angeles, CA. (unless you CAN ship and have it worked out)

I'd prefer IMOLA red, but any color will do, and I dont mind the condition of the leather, as long as the motor functions work.

Thanks!

Feel free to e-mail me at Chasen.EF1@gmail.com or PM. I check both often.

Not Z4M but Z4 M Sport, which are similar. They also had 10% off last weekend.

Nifty! Those are manual seats too, which means they weigh less. I've had both, and I think the only real difference between those and the seats from an M are the "M" logo embossed on the headrest; the M Sport seats do not have that.

There also appears to be some extra stitching on the side bolsters that is not present on M seats. Maybe different leather?

I think a more expensive leather was used for the Z4M seats, and there was the M embossed on the headrest. Other than that, I think most folks would be hard pressed to tell one from the other.

There were 3 leathers used for the sport seats. I don't believe the bolstering/support differed at all between them.
  1. Oregon leather was used on regular, non-M sport seats. They have that second stitch on the hip and thigh bolsters and no "M" logo
  2. New England leather was the term for seats from Extended Leather interiors and (AFAIK) did not have an "M" logo. It had the second stitch on the bolsters as well as an embossed pattern half-way up the back. I've never seen or felt this in person but read that it is softer than Oregon leather.
  3. Nappa Leather was used on Individual and Z4M interiors and is the softest, smoothest grain offered. Included the "M" on the headrest and no extra stitch or pattern.

In person I can definitely tell the difference between the leathers, although my job means I'm around them often and need to tell the difference. Not sure most people would be able to tell if not shown both side-by-side. That said, if you're after Imola interior, you'll have to get Nappa (Z4M).

Thanks for the find, but the mechanical condition of them isnt something I'm looking for. Leather will be changed, unless its a great condition set of Imola

(have hides waiting for a new pair of seats, so grey/black/any stitching or leather condition isn't of concern)

Power Seat Troubleshooting

Sorry, i'm new to the forum. This is probably in the wrong string, but I have a question. My 2004 Z4 has power seats with memory on the driver's side. The seats seem to function fine when the car is turn off and the key is not in the ignition. When the car is turn on the seats no longer function. No adjustments can be made while the engine is running or the key is in the on position. Do the seats need to be replaced, or is this normal?
