Hello all!
New to the forum as I just procured my first Z4 and love it. While I can handle a lot of minor issues on my own (oil changes, brakes, basically most things that do not require me jacking up the car beyond one wheel at a time), looking for a solid indie mechanic here in the city of Chicago. Who does everyone prefer or had good experiences with? From what I can see on Yelp, these two stand out... R&N Bavarian Motors on May st Bimmer Werkshop on Montrose. Thanks for the help! Oh and yes... after a cursory search of the site, no real places came up in terms of Chicago indie shops. |

I would recommend
https://m.facebook.com/germanautowerks2/ Mike is a BMW master tech with 25+ years at a local bmw dealer. Full shop including 2 CNC machines. So if something is broken - they can make it. Bimmer werkshop on Montrose is 2 blocks away from my house and I still drive up north. |
