wow I've never seen one of these in Imola. in 6 years.

this is literally the one and only imola red hard top to come up for sale since 2012.

If i didn't live in LA and have a second car for rainy days i would be all over it.

I used to live in LA and terribly miss the weather

ha, I moved to LA after growing up in New York. Sounds like you're going the wrong way!

I did initially but now on the right track back to CA (after 8 years on the East Coast, 3 in Boston and 5 in NYC). Problem is, I had to come to SF instead of LA, but will make my way south in due time

Funny thing is, I lived in the NE until last year. Should have put it up for sale before moving to SF Bay.

On the + side, I think a black top on Imola Red doesn't look bad at all.

Repaint yours. I gave up finding the right color and just found one - then repainted.

Was this hardtop originally factory Imola red or was it a different color prior and repainted to Imola? What hardware is needed to fit and secure the hardtop?

It came off of my Imola Red 2006 Z4MR and matched the car perfectly so I assume factory painted (I bought the car used). If your car doesn't have the prep kit installed, you'll also need that (part #10 in this diagram: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=54_0330).

If needed I may be able to get the prep kit off the car (the new owner agreed to let me take it off if needed and is local).
