As per request...don't get me wrong...wasn't easy but happy with the finished product especially given this was my first time laying leather on anything |

Haha...its actually very easy...just get panels off a crashed car...does not have to be an M as according to realoem.com...part numbers are the same...and a skin from a place like tandy leather factory...good quality thin leather...not a thick hide...rough the panels up with sand paper...some cement glue...allot of patience and its actually pretty easy!
Once I was done I went around the edges and applied a bit of superglue just to be absolutely sure...loctite 495...panels fit perfectly in the gaps and so far zero issues...no panel has come apart. Cheers! |
