Hmm, I don't have an 8 year old son, but the little kid inside of me says that everytime I get in mine. I always do as he ask, except I still try not to go above 4th or 5th gear on the country roads.

.... some of you obviously live far away from big cities. Here in the DC area, I see other Z3Ms and Z4Ms like they're Hondas. Besides the occasional car enthusiast, I never get a second look.

Lets give context to the stories of glossy-eyed masses, and tone down the rhetoric a little bit; lest we all look like self-righteous fools.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA Priceless. I do that frequently , it's a pretty good deal for what it is. I should buy a beater truck but right now I can get away with the HD truck or Mums RR. That is if I buy anything bigger than a shoebox.

depends what kind of Z4 you're talking about... if it's the roadster, then yes, there are quite a few around each corner... but the E86 body is unique and rare.

I don't get many looks from people when I'm in my M. I used to get a lot more in the black non-M, especially when I was living on the east coast.

i get looks all the time in my non-m, i think it's just a coupe thing. i see plenty of 03-05 z4s but i feel like at one point it was just me, shift@red, f360c, and one other random guy that had coupes in the nj/ct area. i think you see more now than before though given cpo's coming off warranty and prices in general coming down.

mine were both coupes

i think it's just an LA thing. i hardly even look twice when i see a ferrari or lambo anymore.

Really?? I live in south florida which is car central and I rarely see a Z4M, especially a coupe. I get lots of looks/compliments. Ferraris, Lambos, Bentleys, etc are a dime a dozen down here.

maybe your color combo? wheel combo? I know I get a lot of looks when I drive around... San Francisco and San Diego...

I guess it really depends where you are and the cars that are surrounding you.
