Post Your Garage!
Does this thread exist? Can it be pinned if not?
My M is finally getting a home soon (cross fingers), in a 1.5 bay garage and I need ideas on renovating it. Please post your garage photos with description please! The concrete floor of the garage is pitted and not in the best condition. I don't want to spend the money to redo it so epoxy is out of the question. I am deciding between RaceDeck, SwissTrax, or similar.

Not sure about racedeck , Swiss track or any of those, but I know a nice bit of carpet cutoff is awesome on the bear feet and great to spanner on.. even better if you can get carpet (low shag) cut to proper size.
Used to have a 4 car garage, now I have a frikkin carport that didn't even have a roof. Frickin life! |

Wont epoxy work out cheaper than the Racedeck or SwissTrax?
Racedeck and SwissTrax will be the best bet though, especially if you plan to work in there over the winter. crawling under the car is not fun on cold floors.. The cheapest alternative may be to add a new layer of screed on the floor to fill all the pitts/valleys, then smooth out and paint it with a durable floor paint that is hot tire pickup resistant... I did this in my new home garage/workshop last month as i fitted a drain in there so now I can wash/detail cars inside too.
