You can always state the fact that the CF roofs are more crash safe than the OEM version due to having available Honeycomb and Kevlar friction materials.

You know...in case of roll-overs and what-not !

Also, having reduced up-top weight will allow safer cornering albeit faster entry speeds, lol.

Thanks, and will do !!

I finished the honeycomb core patterns and their associated plugs this week. So I'll be molding the substructure soon !

Once this is accomplished I can cast the two main parts install mountings and fill with Honeycomb and bond up.

Seal would be next and then I'll make a video of my roof removal and get it edited and compressed for an install and removal instructional video to accompany each shipped roof.

Looking at this poor guys highway roll-over skid is a valid point to how I'm constructing these and why.

Our stock sheet metal roofs are very thin and have zero reinforcement or barrier for puncture or ripping.

Mine will have Kevlar for aid against long skidding and honeycomb for ultimate core structural strength.

In other words, my CF roofs would be scratched all to hell like this one but still holding shape.

Cool. Let's talk weave, and "thread color" before starting on mine, okay? I may go with the standard weave and just CF, but I'd like to talk through some of the options noted waaaayyyy earlier in the thread.
