It will be nice having all my tools, aside from my welder which was stolen out of the garage one late evening while packing.

Group is still forming . Molds are nearer completion. R&D for durability, fit & finish still to come.

Bare in mind, previous kits had no specific water tight seal aside from goo adhesive, nor any way to remove easily or lift off/vent like I'm engineering into these.

It all takes time and patience. I'm at the shop working today (saturday)....just like I will be Sunday.

I'm perfectly willing to be patient on this--in case you were wondering Schnitzer! I agree it's going to take time!

Besides, I can't buy every damn mod under the sun at one time. Even if I could--$$$ notwithstanding--where would the fun be in that? I like being able to space add something here, something there, and keep it fresh.

Carry on sir!

Thank you good sir ! Oddly enough I wish guys were making the parts I'm engineering so I wouldn't have to work so many damn hours !!

I need to find a way to better replicate myself,lol....but only the good sides,

The development is the fun part! By the time you get to manufacturing the shinny penny effect has been tarnished. At least this is how I feel about the gauge pod project I have been working on. Sort of a one and done deal

Looking forward to your creations!

I hear that ! I have always enjoyed the development process as a whole. My problem will be control of the molds by use of jobber shops to do production. I'm just too picky for my own good it seems.

My friends always tell me....." your looking at it TOO intensely and need to think more like the common man ya' fool",lol.

One can engineer oneself into a frozen perfection that no one will get to enjoy if not careful and relaxed.

I often wonder. The response to the finished product will be where I'll derive satisfaction. I'm vain like that, lol.

Yay things are back on track and moving along again. Looks like winter even slows down things on the forums.

Out of curiosity the price you've listed earlier, is that just for the group buy or will that be the general price in the near distant future. I'm definitely interested, but would like to hold off until near Xmas if it's available by then.

7)- Cost=first 10 units will be $1,450.00 + Shipping.

After the lucky first 10 pay on the GB announcement, I will either opt for one more GB or go to retail pricing due to material costs.

No monies will be received though until I have parts in hand and the molds/system is proven to me.

Thanks in advance for your interest.

This might sound like a dumb question but the plain weave is the "standard weave" right?

Plain is 1x1 weave.

Twill is 2x2 .

2x2 Twill Standard means black and grey configuration, not colored or any type of Kevlar dyed Carbon hybrid.

Some years ago, Plain 1x1 was about all there was...so IT was the standard cloth design. Times have changed and things became complicated in terms.

Hope that helps ?
